Ludovic Robeet launches his 2023 season in the GP La Marseillaise. The rider from Brabant is in increasing condition after a successful winter preparation. He had a difficult start in 2022, due to a knee injury. The end of his campaign was brutally ended by a very heavy crash at the Serenissama Gravel in Italy. « Ludo » wants to forget these bad moments and starts the new season with the great enthusiasm he is known for. The winner of the Nokere Koerse 2021 enters in 2023 his 11th year in our team, four of which (2013-2016) in the development group.
« My season will be successful if I win again in 2023 and if I am present in the finals. »
Ludovic Robeet. « Everything went very well this winter in my preparation, I had no physical problems, which is already a very good thing. Last season, at this time, I had a knee injury. But I was still able to resume racing quite quickly, at the Tour of Antalya. I think 2022 was a good year. Of course you always expect the winner of a race, the Nokere Koerse 2021 in my case, to win again. I have to say that I felt in Nokere in 2022 in better condition than the year I won, but the race conditions meant that it ended in a sprint, which is not my cup of tea . My 2022 season has been quite full, with the Flanders campaign, Paris-Roubaix (32nd), a good second part of the year, but unfortunately went to ground in Italy, after hitting a barrier. »
« I’m starting my season where I wanted to start it, at the GP La Marseillaise, a very nervous race that opens the season in France. It doesn’t really suit me but it will be a good first test before the Etoile de Bessèges which suits me much better. I think I am in good shape but I know that I still have to improve. Two stage races like Bessèges and the Tour of Antalya will help me to get to the top of my condition for the start of the season in Belgium, at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad.
